PROJECT INSIGHTS
This project involved the development of a comprehensive incident management system, accessible via both web and mobile platforms. The system was designed to assist organizations in effectively managing incidents, implementing preventive measures, tracking inventories, managing employee information, and overseeing factory operations. The platform provides a centralized hub for all incident-related data and processes, streamlining workflows and improving overall efficiency.
The platform was built using a modern technology stack, including React for the web application, React Native for the mobile application, Node.js for the backend, MongoDB for the database, and AWS for cloud hosting and infrastructure. This combination of technologies ensured a scalable, performant, and reliable system.

OPPORTUNITY FOR IMPROVEMENTS
Many organizations struggle with disparate systems and manual processes for managing incidents, preventive maintenance, inventory control, employee records, and factory oversight. This fragmented approach often leads to inefficiencies, data silos, communication breakdowns, and increased risk of incidents occurring. Hawkins needed a unified platform to consolidate these critical functions, automate key processes, and provide real-time insights into operations, enabling proactive risk mitigation and improved decision-making. Specifically, they sought a solution that could improve incident tracking and reporting, facilitate the scheduling and management of preventive measures, provide accurate inventory management, streamline employee data, and offer a centralized view of factory operations.


PROJECT DELIVERY PROCESS
The project was completed in 75 days by a dedicated team of three developers. Each developer contributed to both the design and implementation phases of the platform, collaborating closely to ensure seamless integration between the web and mobile applications. The 75-day timeline encompassed requirements gathering, system architecture design, front-end and back-end development, API integration, mobile app development, rigorous testing, and deployment to the AWS cloud environment. The team utilized agile development methodologies, allowing for iterative progress, continuous feedback, and adaptability to evolving requirements.
